InDeClay
InDeClay (Industrial Design Clay) is Kolbs latest modelling material and was created to fulfil especially the needs of industrial designers. It is a light grey clay which bases on Kolbs TecClay and shows - because of it's colour - extremely well shadows. InDeClay is also the perfect material for character design and architectural-models. InDeClay is a dry clay which reaches it's perfect working temperature already at 52 degrees Celsius. The big advantage of this clay will especially become obvious at the final model and at presentations. The complex production of InDeClay and it's well chosen thermic ingredients have the result that this clay keeps all its ingredients bonded. InDeClay will not exude components: the model stays nice for a long time, it will not get greasy or blotty.

Product-Highlights
- InDeClay is 100% free of sulfur.
- InDeClay has at the same volume (700ccm per billet) 40% less weight than sulfur-containing clay. This does not only result in lighter models, but also in lower transportation costs.
- InDeClay models appear light and elegant and are therefore perfect for presentations. The light grey color gives a unique quality to the models and shadows and highlights are easy to spot.
- InDeClay does not show light-colored traces after the use of steels. The model is immediately "ready" and shows a color-homogeneous surface. In many cases no lacquering is necessary.
- InDeClay models are due to the color perfect for the follow up in the computer. Photos of the models can easily be colored or enhanced with an image editing software. The light-colored and fine details emphasizing models are a perfect base for the creation of 3-D computer models.
- InDeClay is much more temperature stable than ordinary clay. The processing temperature whereas is moderate 52 degrees Celsius.
- InDeClay shows a perfect surface finish. The clay can easily be smoothed with slicks - without annoying stroke traces or scratches.
- InDeClay is edge stable and perfect for the creation of high detail models.
- InDeClay is perfect for CNC milling. The clay chips are dry and do not stick on the model.
- InDeClay is oxidation free, homogenised and absolutly odorless.
