Kolb America: Neue Adresse und neues Management
Zum 21. März hat sich die Adresse und das Management der Kolb America Inc. geändert. Wir haben den Sitz unserer amerikanischen Niederlassung von East Lansing nach Novi (beides Michigan) verlegt. Weitere Details finden Sie in der nachfolgenden Pressemitteilung:
"Effective March 21, 2011 Kolb America, Inc. has moved their corporate headquarters and office from East Lansing, Michigan to Novi, Michigan and has appointed new management.

Andreas K. Koeck, Chairman of the Board and appointed President of Kolb America Inc. is also Managing Director of the Kolb Group in Germany and happily announces "Kolb America was created in 2006 to provide extended service to the North American styling community starting from traditional modelling tools, via clay products, to highly sophisticated StudioLine milling and scanning solutions. One cannot deny that the most recent economic crisis has done great harm to the automotive industry. On the other hand, 2011 shows that this industry is moving out of the crisis with an impressive momentum. At Kolb, we want to keep pace with this progress and provide even better service, enlarge the portfolio, and establish Kolb America as local premium partner for all styling matters. In 2010, we opened a second warehouse in California to shorten lead time for our west-coast customers. With the new premises at Novi, we now have even more space for clay tools, tapes, and other such equipment. Furthermore, we will have a StudioLine demo machine in the US later this year at our larger Novi space."
Andreas K. Koeck is also pleased to introduce Heinz-Peter Jansen as the new Vice-President of Kolb America, Inc. and local operating officer, "Peter has 20 years of experience in working with the American automotive and aviation industry. Because of his dual American and German citizenship, Peter is the ideal person to look over the operational business in the US and keep close contact with our headquarters in Germany and our main supplier, STAEDTLER."
After the friendly acquisition of Kolb's clay production by the STAEDTLER group in 2009, Kolb America was granted a premium dealership status, not only supplying Kolb clays, but also Marsclays formerly known as FABER clays. Mr. Winfried Iftner, Managing Director with STAEDTLER Industrieplastilin GmbH states, "After having created the biggest clay manufacturer in the world by taking over Franz Kolb clay production, we very much appreciate the partnership with Kolb Technology and Kolb America contributing more than 100 years of styling and creative expertise to our sales network." STAEDTLER sales director Helmut Gerber: "By branding the former Faber and Kolb clays as STAEDTLER clays we have committed ourselves to highest quality, sustainability, and maximum product safety. Together with Kolb, we are very confident of our ability to serve our customers better."
